Why, why, why is this show eating my brain? It's making me think things about theocracy and Canossa! Anyone interested look under the cut at your own risk.

Seriously.  My thesaurus doesn't know the word "whore". Actually, it refuses to give me any synonyms for anything even slightly sexual or vulgar. I can't work like this!

I am currently researching the great epic poet John Milton and stumbled upon the following description of the young poetic genius:

His short but well-formed body, long auburn hair, blue eyes, and fair skin enhanced his intellectual vivacity and graceful manners.

Uhm ... Sound like a certain bloody awful poet we all know? 

Something ... interesting happened to me yesterday. I met with some old school friends who I don't see as regularly anymore as I'd like. Okay, another thing: Yesterday evening, during channel-surfing, I stumbled upon an age-old episode of Columbo. While watching, it suddenly occured to me that Columbo just might be the great-great-grandfather of Agent Seeley Booth - in an intertextual way, of course.
